The drain seals to the base with fiber and rubber washers, and the 2 in schedule 40 DWV pipe solvent welds to the drain base. Made of durable PVC plastic, the drain top can also accommodate 4-1/4 in universal snap-tite strainers, which are available in a variety of designer finishes. It is easy to install and provides a reliable seal for your shower floor.
