Whether through in-person sessions or an online Learning Management System with vast amounts of product knowledge and professional development courses, our team aims to empower every employee with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles and adapt to new challenges.

Management Training

Management Training

Our 12-month rotational program prepares you for a full-time position in the organization. You’ll work in multiple departments and learn how PDI works as a whole. This program runs twice per year, typically in January and June.

This 12-month program is designed to prepare you for a successful career in one of our state-of-the-art showrooms. In addition to operational knowledge, you’ll gain the skills needed to work with contractors, designers, and homeowners.

Internships

Our 10-week Supply Chain Internship provides hands-on experience across operations, purchasing, and Ecommerce teams offering leadership development and insight into every function of our supply chain network.

Management Training Program

PDI’s Management Training Program is a 12-month rotational program that prepares participants for a full-time position within our organization. You’ll work in multiple departments with a variety of leaders, allowing you to see all aspects of PDI’s supply chain and gain a thorough understanding of the company as a whole.

Learning the Ropes

What You Can Expect in the Management Training Program

The majority of your time will be spent in Lawrenceville, Georgia, but three months will require travel to other locations. Departments you’ll rotate through include:

  • Operations (Shipping, Receiving, Transfers & Inventory Control)
  • Sales (Inside Sales, Showroom Sales & Commercial Quotes)
  • Corporate Functions (Ecommerce, Purchasing & Credit)

Once completed, trainees will obtain a full-time position based on current career opportunities and competencies learned throughout the program.

Showroom Training Program

Our Showroom Training Program is a 12-month program designed to prepare participants for a successful career in one of our state-of-the-art showrooms. Our course provides training in the post operational sales process, ERP systems, product knowledge, sale techniques, and much more. Graduates will gain the skills needed to work with contractors, designers, and homeowners.

Who Should Apply

At PDI, we value commitment, integrity, and teamwork. We’re looking for people with effective leadership and interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to problem-solve. Candidates should be proficient in basic computing (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree is preferred. You must be able to work at any PDI location for any period and be willing to relocate to any PDI location upon completion of the training program.
