The Sioux Chief OxBox Fire-Rated Washing Machine Outlet Box with Hammer Arresters is designed for recessed laundry plumbing installations in residential, commercial, and multi-family buildings requiring fire-rated wall assemblies. The unit features durable ABS construction with a fire-rated frame and integrated intumescent protection. It includes two quarter-turn ball valves with MiniRester™ water hammer arresters to reduce pressure shock and pipe noise. The outlet box provides 1/2 in. PEX F1807 crimp inlet connections and 3/4 in. male hose-thread outlets for washing machine hoses. It can mount securely on-stud or between studs and allows supply lines to be installed from the top or bottom for flexible installation.
