This cast iron hair interceptor is designed for installation in beauty salons, pet facilities, or other locations where hair or lint can accumulate and clog the piping system. It features a gasketed cover, a slip joint inlet elbow, and a removable sediment basket. The 1-1/2 in FIP connections allow for easy in-line installation on the outlet piping directly below a sink. A perforated basket inside the interceptor separates hair and debris from the wastewater flow.
