The unit includes a square, medium-duty grate with 7/16 in slotted openings to manage flow while filtering debris. The interior and top surfaces are coated in white acid-resisting porcelain enamel to protect against chemical exposure and corrosion. A white ABS anti-splash interior bottom dome strainer is included to prevent splashing and maintain drainage efficiency.
