Series PL close coupled booster pumps are specifically designed for quiet operation in hydronic, radiant and geothermal heating and cooling systems. These inline permanently lubricated pumps are available in cast iron or lead-free bronze body construction. The maintenance-free system features a self-cleaning particle shield that protects the shaft and bearings from system start-up debris. A powerful, dry-motor design offers more efficiency than the competition. Unlike a wet rotor, the series does not need to bypass system water through the motor to lubricate and cool the bearings. The advanced close-coupled design increases pump life and efficiency while easily handling difficult water conditions.
