This universal rough-in valve provides the concealed plumbing foundation for tub and shower installations. Designed for flexibility, it accepts pressure-balance or thermostatic cartridges used with compatible trim kits. The valve features 1/2 in universal connections that support multiple piping types, including copper, PEX, and iron pipe. A mounting bracket helps secure the valve during installation, while the included pressure test cap allows air or water testing before the cartridge and trim are installed. Trim kit and cartridge are sold separately.
