This is a stem and swivel mount thermal photocontrol designed to automatically manage outdoor lighting systems based on ambient light levels. It is widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications where reliable dusk-to-dawn operation is required. This photocontrol operates on a 120 VAC power supply and uses a cadmium sulphide photocell sensor combined with a mechanical bimetal switch. This combination ensures dependable switching performance by detecting natural light changes and automatically turning connected lighting fixtures ON at dusk and OFF at dawn.
