The Schedule 40 PVC construction provides resistance to household chemicals and corrosion. A built-in union joint allows for manual disassembly, facilitating access to the trap for cleaning or debris removal. This fitting meets ASME standards and is UPC and IPC compliant for residential and commercial plumbing installations. It is strictly intended for liquid drainage and must not be used with compressed air or gases.
