Wax Bowl Ring will not dry out, harden or deteriorate. Wax Ring works best at room temperature to ensure proper flow of wax. All surfaces must be dry and free of putty, scale or other contaminated wax. Remove debris by scraping with putty knife or wire brush. Dust and dry all surfaces before installing gasket. Remove wax ring from wrapping. Place wax firmly over the horn of the outlet on the toilet bowl and set into place over closet bolts, using body weight to compress gasket. Gently twist bowl to spread wax. Tighten flange bolts carefully to prevent cracking or chipping.
