The drain is solvent welded to 2 in schedule 40 DWV pipe and allows a 1-1/2 in margin of error. drain top accommodates 4-1/4 in universal strainers available in a variety of designer finishes. The drain body provides a 1-1/2 in offset to work around joists and imperfect slab penetrations. The drain body is sealed to the shower base with a rubber gasket and fiber slip washer.
