Overview
This ice maker outlet box with water hammer arrester is used in plumbing systems where a recessed water supply is required. The box and frame are constructed from durable ABS and feature a steel bracket for secure mounting to or between studs. It allows for supply lines to be installed from above or below. The unit includes a lead-free, quarter-turn ball valve with a 1/2 in male iron pipe and female sweat connection and a 1/4 in OD compression outlet. A debris cover is included to protect the valve from paint and drywall mud during construction. The integrated water hammer arrester helps reduce pressure spikes and noise in the plumbing system.
