It features a glass-lined tank coated with glass specially developed for water heater use to provide protection against corrosion. The unit includes industrial-grade low-watt density incoloy immersion elements with Ni-chrome resistance wire for long life. It meets the standby loss requirements of the U.S. Department of Energy and ASHRAE/IES 90.1 standards. Added safety features include internal fusing to protect elements and thermostats against excess current flow and two anode rods for maximum corrosion protection. A factory-installed terminal block allows for easy installation by bringing service directly to the block.
