Engineered for new construction, this 2 in round open downlight housing supports trimless installation in ceilings ranging from 1/2 in to 1 in thick. The unit requires hardwiring and operates on a universal 120-277V input. It is ETL and UL listed for damp locations, making it suitable for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas. The housing is IC-rated and airtight, featuring compatibility with spray foam insulation up to R6.8 per in. Dimming capabilities include ELV, TRIAC, and 0-10V protocols from 100 percent to 1 percent. This fixture provides 90 minutes of 6W emergency illumination via an integral battery backup with a 24 in remote test switch. A complete installation requires a separate round trim. Backed by a 5 year warranty.
