This 1/2 HP effluent pump is designed for use in basement sump or septic system applications. Its switch case, motor housing, and pump housing are constructed of durable cast iron for long-lasting corrosion resistance. The non-clogging vortex impeller allows 5/8 in spherical solids to pass freely through the pump. Equipped with a piggyback variable level float switch, it allows for adjustable on and off points in the field. Every unit is submerged in water and tested to its performance curve to ensure reliability. The oil-filled motor provides optimal heat dissipation, preventing overheating during extended use. This pump is ideal for removing gray water from deep sump pits.
