It is an industry standard for higher flow requirements and requires a piggyback float switch or control panel for operation. The oil-filled motor and cast iron housing allow for optimal heat dissipation to prevent overheating. It features a corrosion-resistant engineered plastic vortex impeller to allow free passage of solids, which prevents clogging and lessens downtime. Stainless steel screws, switch arm, handle, and hardware prevent rust and corrosion. Each unit is 100 percent factory tested by being submerged in water to ensure it performs as expected. This pump handles 1/2 in spherical solids and includes a 1-1/2 in NPT discharge.
